So, apparently we’re partly to blame for giving young girls a negative body image, instead of turning them into shopaholics. There were some interesting comments from readers of the article online.
It must have been a slow news day. Art usually needs to include teenage nudity these days to be newsworthy enough for a front page.
Animation is the art of exaggeration. The choice to use or watch animation is a conscious choice to take a departure from realism. However obvious this may appear, it has never stopped criticisms that animation can influence negative behaviours.
The article did give us all bit of a chuckle. After all, for the first time people weren’t complaining about all the landmarks being in the wrong places!
